Privacy policy. Plain English, on purpose.
This covers any application we build and run that doesn't post a policy of its own. Questions about it go to privacy@dataday.studio, and a person answers.

What this covers
Data Day Studio builds and runs software for our clients, and this notice covers any application we build that doesn't post a separate policy of its own. If you got here from a link inside an app, this is what governs the data that app collects, whether the company behind it is us or one of our clients.
- 02
What we collect
Account information: your name, email, and anything else you give us to create or use an account.
The content you put into the application to use it: records, files, images, whatever it's built to hold. That content is always covered by the application's own purpose; we don't read it for anything else.
Basic usage and device information collected automatically, like IP address, browser, and pages viewed, which we use for security and to keep the thing running rather than to track you around the internet.
Anything you send us directly, by email or through a contact form.
- 03
How we use it
To run the application and provide the features you're using it for, to keep it secure and backed up, and to respond when you contact us.
We send service email, like a receipt or a password reset, and nothing else unless you've asked for it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train anyone's AI model.
- 04
Who we share it with
The vendors it takes to run the application: hosting, the database, email delivery, and a payment processor if the application collects money. Each one is bound by its own agreement, gets only what running the application requires, and is never allowed to use your data for its own purposes.
We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
- 05
How long we keep it
As long as your account or the application is active. If you cancel or the application is taken down, we hold your data for ninety days in case you come back, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
- 06
Your rights
Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@dataday.studio and a person answers, not a form.
- 07
Children
Our applications aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data anyway, tell us and we'll delete it.
- 08
Security
Data travels over an encrypted connection and lands in private storage that isn't publicly reachable. Access is limited to our team, and the systems it runs on are patched and monitored.
- 09
Changes to this policy
If this changes in a way you'd notice, we'll update the date at the top and tell current clients directly.
